About the Role

As a UX Researcher at X-Centric, you’ll be the voice of our users. You’ll uncover critical insights, identify patterns, and translate findings into actionable recommendations that shape the future of our products. Working alongside product managers, designers, and engineers, you’ll ensure that every decision we make is deeply informed by a thorough understanding of our users’ needs, behaviors, and challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and conduct a wide range of qualitative and quantitative research studies, including user interviews, usability tests, surveys, and field observations.

• Analyze and synthesize research findings to deliver actionable insights that drive product and design decisions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define research objectives, prioritize key questions, and incorporate user feedback into the development process.

• Create personas, journey maps, and user stories that illustrate user needs and pain points.

• Advocate for the user by presenting research findings in a clear, compelling, and actionable manner.

• Stay ahead of industry trends, tools, and best practices to continually enhance our research processes.

• Build and maintain a research repository to ensure insights are accessible and reusable across teams.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 2-5+ years of experience in UX research, user experience design, or a related field.

• Skills: Strong expertise in a variety of research methodologies (e.g., usability testing, A/B testing, contextual inquiry) and tools (e.g., usability testing platforms, analytics tools, survey platforms).

• Mindset: Empathetic, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering exceptional user experiences.

• Collaboration: Comfortable working with diverse teams and presenting findings to stakeholders at all levels.

• Education: A degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, Anthropology, Design, or a related field is preferred but not required.
