About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and high-performing Business Development Manager to join our team in the Greater Milwaukee area. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your excellent communication skills and your knack for identifying sales opportunities with prospective clients. You'll be at the forefront of our growth, responsible for acquiring new accounts through proactive lead generation and supporting our marketing efforts.

Key Responsibilities
Demonstrate a working knowledge of the company’s products and services and effectively communicate X-Centric’s value proposition to prospective clients
Prospect for new clients through outbound lead generation activities
Cultivate leads to uncover sales opportunities
Schedule meetings with decision makers to discuss X-Centric’s products and services
Promote X-Centric’s products and services through social media channels
Regularly attend networking events, conferences, and trade shows to build relationships, generate leads, and promote X-Centric’s products and services
Drive attendance to and attend X-Centric in-person and virtual events
Proactively review vendor partner promotions and promote them to clients
Respond to client sales requests and work with technical team to obtain product and solution recommendations
Request price quotes from distribution channels
Prepare sales quotes, proposals, presentations and client contracts
Research and assist with RFP and bid responses
Assist in the creation of marketing materials and marketing communications
Conduct market research to improve competitive sales strategies
Enter and maintain client records in X-Centric’s CRM
Meet or exceed monthly sales goals
What We’re Looking For
Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and consistently driving revenue growth in a B2B environment
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers at all levels
Strong relationship-building skills, with a proven track record of establishing trust and rapport with clients and prospects
Self-motivated and goal-oriented mindset, with a relentless focus on achieving measurable results
Expertise in identifying customer pain points and aligning solutions to address business needs effectively
Highly adaptable and resourceful in overcoming objections and navigating complex sales cycles
Excellent time management and organization skills with ability to prioritize, plan proactively, and manage rapidly changing and/or conflicting priorities
Experience in leveraging CRM tools to manage pipelines, track performance, and improve sales strategies
An acute attention to detail and ability to complete work with a high level of accuracy
Strong computer skills with aptitude to understand technical concepts
Deep understanding of IT consulting services or technology solutions, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Enthusiastic learner, eager to meet new challenges and quickly assimilate new concepts
Exceptional customer service skills with high-energy drive and passion to exceed expectations
Collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining individual accountability
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s or Associate degree preferred
3-5 years of proven sales experience, preferably in the technology or IT consulting industry
Demonstrated success in generating leads, closing deals, and meeting or exceeding sales quotas
Familiarity with B2B sales processes and selling to executive-level decision-makers
Basic understanding of IT services and technology solutions, with the ability to quickly learn and articulate technical concepts
Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Must be able to work in our Milwaukee office
Valid driver’s license
