About the Role

As an Accountant at X-Centric, you’ll play a critical role in maintaining the financial health and integrity of our organization. You will ensure accurate reporting, streamline financial operations, and provide insights that guide strategic decision-making. Collaborating with internal teams and external partners, you’ll help drive operational excellence while adhering to compliance and accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analysis to support business decisions.

• Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all entries and reconciliations are completed accurately.

• Monitor cash flow, expenses, and budgets to identify trends and support cost optimization efforts.

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company accounting policies.

• Collaborate with auditors during financial and tax audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.

• Support payroll processing, tax filings, and other related accounting duties.

• Continuously review and improve processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 2-5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related role.

• Skills: Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Xero), Microsoft Excel, and financial reporting tools. Strong understanding of GAAP principles.

• Mindset: Detail-oriented, analytical, and committed to delivering accurate and timely results.

• Collaboration: Ability to work cross-functionally, communicate effectively, and present financial information to stakeholders.

• Education: A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification is a plus but not required.
